This weathervane is crafted of 14-gauge solid steel and 3 protective coatings to preserve its beauty. We zinc plate our weathervanes, then bake on an antique copper vein powder coat followed by a clear powder coat. This provides a scratch resistant finish and the appearance of the old-time hammered copper look. We use sealed ball bearings in our windcups to keep them spinning freely with even the slightest breeze. Our design tops are laser cut in one piece, minimizing welding and making them a unique and desirable weathervane. They are 100% made in the United States and generally ship within 48-72 hours, plus transit time.
